"Strangers do not come to visit us. I do not know how this could have happened."The remaining "non-life threatening" needles are set to be removed soon. Doctors have not yet said how the needles got there, but they do not believe that the baby swallowed them. It is thought that the child was living for a month with the objects inside of him. The case is currently being investigated by Uzbekistan police. Unfortunately, this is not the first time an incident such as this has occurred. Last December, 14 sewing needles were found inside a baby girl in Kenya. 13 of the needles were successfully removed after surgery. The girl's mother said she had no idea how they got there.
