If you are planning a staycation or a little road trip around Ireland (now that we have been blessed with GLORIOUS weather), then a visit to Kilkenny should most definitely be on your agenda. Besides divine restaurants from Italian to tapas, plenty to see and FANTASTIC pubs, there is also this dreamy suite waiting for you to rest your travelling feet. A hidden gem, Butler House, ran by the exceptional staff and overseen by Deirdre Keating (Hospitality Manager) and Ger Dunne (Executive Head Chef), is a must visit. The hotel features an on-site newly revamped restaurant, a gorgeous garden and stunning terrace, all within less than a 10 minute walk from the the heart of the city and Kilkenny castle. Oh and did we mention this INCREDIBLE suite. The room which looks like it's straight from a Disney fairytale - is perfect for a girlie weekend away or simply a well-needed night away from all the stresses of daily life.
