Mum, baby and firemen are all well!

Dublin Fire Brigade shared some adorable news yesterday as they revealed two of their firefighters helped deliver a baby girl who “couldn’t wait” to arrive.

Sharing the news on Twitter, they said that baby Hayley was born at home as she was just too excited to make her debut and couldn’t wait for her mum to get to the hospital.

The brigade posted a sweet photo of Hayley’s mum smiling at the camera while holding her moments after birth, writing: “Congratulations to Baby Hayley who was in a big rush to arrive and couldn’t wait for Mum to get to hospital.”

The newborn was delivered by Dublin Fire Brigade firefighter/paramedics Liam and Craig, who assisted her mum in giving birth at her home in Dublin.

Both mum and baby are said to be doing well.

Twitter users were quick to join in with welcoming the new arrival.

One user wrote, “Mum will always be able to tell Hayley that she was a ‘special delivery’! Great story and beautiful pic. Well done everyone!”

Another wrote, “Welcome to the world Hayley hope mum is well & fair play to Liam & Craig.”
