Dublin Fire Brigade helped a young mum deliver her baby in a hotel room

Well, this will make for one great story when they’re older.

Dublin Fire Brigade were the heroes of the hour after they helped a mum-to-be deliver in a hotel last night.

The Finglas-based fire engine attended the scene where they, alongside a Swords ambulance, helped the 26-year-old expectant mother deliver a beautiful baby boy.

The woman was staying at the Regency Hotel in the Whitehall areab when she went into labour.

The Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) took to Twitter to announce the good news saying:

“Congratulations to Mum and her baby boy whom our Finglas fire crew and Swords ambulance helped deliver in Whitehall earlier this evening.”

The DFB also confirmed that both mother and her newborn are doing well.
