A women’s refuge in Dublin has put out an urgent appeal for clothing for young girls.
Saoirse Women’s Refuge which opened in 2006 provides short term crisis accommodation and 24-hour support for families as well as a 24-hour helpline service.
The charity put out the appeal last week asking for the publics help in gathering clothes for little girls.
Saoirse Women’s Refuge wrote;
“We urgently need girls clothes for age 3-4 years and 4-5 years. If you would like to donate please contact 01-4630400”
Since opening in 2006, Saoirse Women’s Refuge has supported over 800 families in the refuge and through outreach as well as over 4000 support calls to their helpline.
