Dunnes Stores shoppers have been warned about the change
Dunnes Stores is set to rollout a change to their voucher scheme next month.
The Irish retailer has confirmed that shoppers can now use their vouchers when shopping online.
The Dunnes Stores app features a variety of vouchers, but customers could only use them in store.
However, the retailer is changing their voucher rules on April 2nd.
Customers will be able to use their vouchers online.
Dunnes Stores launched the voucher scheme in 2024 but are now expanding it to online shoppers.
However, the team stressed that paper vouchers cannot be used for online shopping.
A spokesperson for the retailer said:
“The vouchers you currently have in your wallet may be due to expire before the day of your delivery or collection.”
“Voucher savings are only calculated based on the value of vouchers you currently have available in your Dunnes Stores app on the day of your delivery or collection.”
They added: “From Wednesday, April 2, you’ll be able to use all your valid digital Shop & Save vouchers while shopping online or in-store.
“Reserve your slot before you complete your order to see what Shop & Save vouchers.”
Dunnes confirmed that offers will be available on the day of your delivery or collection.
“You must scan your VALUEclub card when shopping in-store to ensure your earned vouchers are visible in your online grocery account.”
Customers can use the vouchers on most groceries, but there are some exceptions.
You cannot purchase alcohol, clothing, homeware, or baby formula with the vouchers.
