Baby on the way? Planning your Christmas presents already?

We know it’s very, very early and we should be shot for even thinking about the festive season – there are still 91 days until the big day, after all.
That said, lots of parents try to break up the cost of Christmas and make things easier on themselves by getting bits done well in advance.
If you’re one of those uber-prepared types, you might like to know that Smyths Toys has a serious offer on all this week.
It’s doing €10 off every €50 spent in stores. That means a 20 per cent saving when you spend a round number – not too shabby when you think of how quickly the cost of presents can add up.
The offer will only be valid in stores, where the discount will be applied at the till, until 30 September – this coming Sunday.
It’s being run across the retailer’s range of toys and outdoor products, though it doesn’t apply to video games and consoles.
Skylanders figures, Disney Infinity figures and LEGO Dimensions will also be excluded.
Baby products are included in the offer too, making it worth your while if you’re preparing for a new arrival.
