Day made!

You can’t really ask for a more high-profile customer than that.

There aren’t too many people around the world who wouldn’t know the name of Emily Ratajkowski.

Model, actress, some 15 million followers on Instagram; safe to say she’s kind of a big deal.

So, you can imagine what a pleasant surprise it must have been for Aaron O’Sullivan, the owner of the recently established Bantry Bay Boat Hire Ltd., when Emily stopped by last Sunday to head out on tour of the bay and to try and catch a sight of some dolphins.

Aaron tells us that Emily spent about an hour on the boat with Aaron and his girlfriend, Ellen O’Donnell, taking in some of the beautiful sights in the area and that he was happy to provide her with some of the history surrounding Bantry Bay and Whiddy Island.

Aaron said he taught her how to drive a powerboat for the first time and that she loved the whole experience.

Emily, of course, is a regular visitor to Bantry, where her father, John Ratajkowski, bought and renovated a farmhouse over 20 years ago.

She appeared to be out and about quite a lot during her most recent visit to the Rebel County, posing for pictures with Munster and Ireland rugby star Simon Zebo and taking time out to visit the Cork ARC Cancer Support House in Bantry.

Blurred lines? @emrata

It’s only been a few months since she paid a visit to the area for St. Patrick’s Day and she’s said to fond of a Bulmers or a Smithwicks rather than a pint of Guinness; something to bear in mind if you spot her in the local on her next visit.
