It’s a great day for the Parish!

Hollywood just can’t get enough of Ireland at the moment. Between Matt Damon, the Disenchanted cast, and Florence Pugh, the biggest stars are flocking to the Emerald Isle this year.

And now actress, model, and businesswoman Emily Ratajkowski has revealed her love for the Rebels. It was revealed that Ratajkowski has sponsored Bantry’s Basketball Club.

The model’s clothing brand Inamorata will sponsor the club.

The club praised the actress, “We would also like to thank Emily Ratajkowski for her new sponsorship of our under 15 and 16 boys through her clothing brand Inamorata.”

Bantry coach Pat Curran told RTÉ that he asked Ratajkowski’s parents if she’d be interested in sponsoring the club. The family has strong connections to Bantry and visits regularly.

He said he got a yes within five minutes.

“It’s funny to see all the reaction and tweets, people think it’s gas. But they’re just normal people when it comes to Bantry. Nobody takes any notice, nobody bothers anyone,” he said.

“It is a high-profile sponsor for such a small team. We haven’t had any basketball for 18 months so it is a way of saying we’re still here. It’s an extra bit of excitement,” Curran added.
