Cameron Diaz is now a mum-of-two
Actress, Cameron Diaz has welcomed her second child into the world.
The Holiday actress announced the news on Instagram over the weekend and we couldn’t be happier for her.
Cameron confirmed that they welcomed a baby boy into their family and his name is so unique.
“We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden,” she wrote.
The mum-of-two said her baby boy is “awesome and really cute”.
However, she said she isn’t going to share any photos of her baby boy in a bid to protect his privacy.
She explained: “He is awesome and We are all so happy he is here! For the kid’s safety and privacy, we won’t be posting any pictures- but he’s a really cute.”
“We are feeling so blessed and grateful. Sending much love from our fam to yours. Best wishes and Good Afternoon!!” Cameron added.
Fans of the actress praised her unique name choice and the meaning behind it.
The name Cardinal is of English origin but has religious connections.
The moniker itself means ‘vital and important’.
Diaz and her husband Benji Madden are already parents to a daughter in 2019. Their little girl Raddix was born via surrogacy.
