Previously, she had been charged with assault following an altercation with then-boyfriend Lewis Burton. The former Love Island presenter had received much criticism online following the charges and was hounded by the press ahead of her trial. She died by suicide on February 15, 2020. Caroline was best known for her work on the aforementioned Love Island. Before that she hosted Xtra Factor alongside Olly Murs and I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here Now! Channel 4's new documentary will explore Caroline's life through the words of those who knew her best. The film will "pay tribute to one of Britain's biggest stars" through a host of home videos, personal stories, and intimate interviews. There's no release date for the documentary just yet, but once it airs on TV, it will also be available to stream on All4.
