Georgie Crawford opened up about bonding with her second daughter
Influencer Georgie Crawford has opened up about welcoming her second child via surrogacy.
The mum-of-two said they were incredibly blessed to welcome their baby girl Tahlie in 2023.
Her baby girl was born via surrogacy but Georgie said she bonded with her little one straight away.
She told The Irish Mirror: “It’s only natural to wonder what is it going to be like but I was so lucky I bonded with her straight away.
“Of course you worry, it’s about putting all your trust into another woman and I really did trust her.”
The mum said her daughter is so incredibly special because they waited so long to have her.
Georgie shared:
“She is adored by everyone around her, it took us a long time to have her and she fits straight in but she has so much personality, she has us laughing all the time and she is full of joy.”
She explained that it took them some time to find the right surrogate for their family.
Georgie Crawford wanted to ensure it was all ethical and legal before they went down the surrogacy route.
“It took us so long because we wanted to find the right people and agencies and we got there in the end.”
Georgie added, “We had a great relationship with our surrogate mother.
“Keeping her safe and protected was our number one priority. So we were so lucky,” the mum said.
Georgie is also a mum to seven-year-old daughter Pia.
She welcomed her baby girl Tahlie in 2023.
Announcing her daughter’s arrival, the mum wrote on Instagram:
“It feels like a dream. After many years of longing, our Tahlie is here. She doesn’t even know how many years we have already loved her for. Our Christmas miracle.”
