Ryan Tubridy will be in conversation with a number of big guests.
The Late Late Show is back this Friday and, following Irish talent racking up 14 nominations at the Academy Awards, the programme will be doing its own Irish Oscars tribute.
Some of the nominees will be live in the studio, including the writer and director, Colm Bairéad, and producer, Cleona Ní Chrualaoi, of An Cailín Ciúin, the first Irish language feature movie to be up for an Oscar.
An Cailín Ciúin received a nomination in the Best International Film category and has grossed more than €1 million at the box office in Ireland and the UK, making it the most successful Irish language film ever.
Sticking with the award season theme, Bad Sisters and Good Luck to You, Leo Grande star and Tipperary actor Daryl McCormack will be on the show to talk about his impressive double Bafta nomination.
As well as this, BAFTA award-winning actress and Harry Potter actress Miriam Margolyes and Senator Lynn Ruane will join host Ryan Tubridy to discuss their much-publicised summer holiday in a campervan, their shared love of the Aran Islands and their upcoming documentary about Lady Gregory.
Returning to the show then will be broadcaster and comedian Conor Moore aka Conor’s Sketches to entertain viewers with his gift for impressions.
Also, Tubridy will speak with Karina Molloy, one of the first women to join the Irish Defence Forces, about her experiences of harassment, sexual assault, and bullying while serving and why she decided to speak out.
In terms of music, Aby Coulibaly will be showcasing her new single, while Derek Ryan and Emma Langford will perform a special duet called ‘Everywhere with You’.
The next Late Late episode will air on RTÉ One on Friday, January 27th at 9.35 pm
