Actor Ioan Gruffudd has filed a domestic violence restraining order against his ex-wife Alice Evans.
The Liar actor claims his ex-wife has been threatening him since he left her in August 2020.
He moved out of their family home in 2021.
According to People, the actor’s ex “repeatedly told me between August 2020 and our separation on January 1, 2021 that if I left her, she would make false public accusations about me, sell false stories about me to the press, and destroy me and my career.”

The Welsh actor explained that his lawyers told Evans to stop harassing and calling him, but she ignored their requests.
Evans reportedly “made false and harassing” posts on social media. She also sent “hundreds of harassing, abusive and threatening communications by text, voice message, video message.”
The actor said she even sent threatening emails to his mother, Margaret Griffiths.
He revealed in his petition: “Alice told me verbally multiple times that she would do to me what Amber Heard did to Johnny Depp.”
“Alice threatened to tell people I had abused her and our daughters; she threatened to call the police on me if I did not comply with her demands.
He continued, “She threatened to tell people I am a drug addict and put me in prison; she threatened to write a fake diary that reflected an abused victim and to have the diary published, and threatened to destroy my mother.”
She told him that “she would win” and claimed nobody would believe him.

Evans has denied the claims.
She said she had not received a copy of the restraining order, but denied the accusations.
“I know for certain: I have not hit, struck, attacked, threatened, assaulted, harassed, followed, stalked, molested, destroyed the personal property of [Ioan or Bianca].
She also said she has not kept the pair under surveillance, impersonated, blocked the movement of the pair.
Evans stressed that she has not contacted them repeatedly by phone or electronic means, or disturbed the peace of either her ex-husband or Bianca Wallace.
Evans and Gruffudd share two daughters- 12-year-old Elsa and 8-year-old Elsie.
The couple, who met on the set of 102 Dalmatians, married in 2007. Gruffudd went on to file for divorce in March 2021.
He is currently dating Bianca Wallace.
