19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar has been sentenced to 12.5 years in prison. The reality star was found guilty of downloading child abuse images.
It is believed the content was the 'worst of worst'.
The dad-of-seven has also been banned from using the Internet.
He was found guilty of two counts of downloading and possessing child abuse images in December 2021.
It is believed the judge dropped one of the charges before he was sentenced on May 25th.
He has been in custody since last December.
Duggar is not allowed near children, including his own. However, he may be allowed supervised visits.
When he is released from prison, the dad will be under mandated supervision for 20 years.
He will also have to take part in a treatment programme for sex offenders.
He will be banned from viewing pornography of any sort.
The 34-year-old has also been banned from owning any electronic devices with photo storage capacity.
Prosecutors said the father had a "deep-seated, pervasive and violent sexual interest in children".
His wife Anna has continued to support him throughout the trial.
The mum said her husband is a "loving, supportive and caring father."
Josh's parents also supported him in court on Wednesday.
His mother Michelle wrote a letter to Judge Brooks and asked for a lesser sentence.
She claimed her son has "a tender heart" and "is compassionate towards others".
Josh has previously admitted to cheating on his wife Anna. He has also been accused of molesting teenage girls, including his own sisters.
Josh and Anna have seven children together.
