Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are back talking after Lilibet birth

Things are looking up.

While the Princes may not be on the best of terms, it looks like the two Duchesses are friends again, or at least talking to eachother. Kate Middleton is clearly over not speaking to her sister in law, and after Meghan's newest arrival, the Duchess of Cambridge is ready to build a bridge. A source close to the royal family revealed to Us Weekly that the pair have been trying to work on their relationship. "Kate has been reaching out to Meghan a lot more since [Lilibet] was born, she’s sending [notes and] gifts and trying to build up a relationship,” they said. “The firm has been instructing staffers to reach out more to Harry and Meghan to get them to soften a bit." It's no secret that Kate and Meghan's relationship isn't the same as what it once was, with stories after stories if their "feud" only making matters worse for them. Another source revealed that the pair, however, were never overly close but the main reason for them not speaking is because of their husband's "rift". They said: "They were never that close, but the reason they’re not speaking is because of the rift between Prince Harry and Prince William. "Harry and William have communicated sparingly over the last year, but none of their communications have been friendly in quite some time. There is real animosity that the brothers have toward one another, and that has spilled over to Meghan and Kate’s relationship, making it very hard for them to be friends or even friendly."
