Boyzone singer Keith Duffy has announced the passing of his father, Séan Duffy.
Taking to
Instagram, Keith and his son Jay posted a number of pictures of Séan as well as a short tribute to him.
They wrote: "Séan Duffy 1945 - 2022
"Words cannot describe how heartbroken we are to announce the passing of our father/grandfather Séan.
"The most courageous and brave warrior we’ve ever known and probably will ever know."
They added: "We already miss him so much."
In the comments, a number of friends and fans shared their condolences.

Bandmate Ronan Keating wrote: "Sending all our love."
Glenda Gilson commented: "And what a gentleman. RIP Sean. Thinking of you all and sending lots of love."
