Kendall Jenner admits she is ‘scared to have children’ due to debilitating anxiety

While the rest of her siblings continue to grow their families, Kendall Jenner, 27, has admitted that her 'debilitating anxiety' is holding her back from motherhood. The supermodel has, in the past, been rather vocal about her fear of having kids, which is triggered by her mental health struggles with anxiety and panic attacks on the family's reality TV show, The Kardashians. When speaking to her oldest sister, Kourtney's ex, Scott Disick, she opened up about the fears and anxieties that extend to the idea of having her own children; she described it as something that is 'really bad lately' and is stopping her from having kids. Witnessing her younger sister Kylie's pregnancies also comes as another factor in her not wanting any offspring right now. "This is definitely a massive birth control moment for me... It's a lot," Kendall confessed after Kylie complained of not having a night out in over a year and admitted she felt she was in need of one. But while the supermodel may be fearful of stepping into motherhood, she is enjoying her independence and describes herself as a relationship person. "I'm the worst single person ever because I'm not going out. I'm not exploring anything. I just sit at home. But whatever. I don't chase—I attract. "I'm also really good at being independent. It's not something I'm looking for, either. I think I just find myself in relationships," she shared. Kendall has been linked to singer Bad Bunny since February, but the couple has been slow to discuss or put anything out there just yet. However, while the 27-year-old has put off the idea of having her own family, she hasn't ruled it out, and it is something she hopes to do someday. "I'm excited for that time in my life," she told WSJ Magazine. "I just know it's not right now." It hasn't stopped the 'Momager' from wanting her second-to-youngest child to reproduce. Last year, Kendall admitted to E!'s Daily Pop that her mum has been relentlessly pressuring her to start a family. She says that Kris 'will just randomly text me and be like, 'I think it's time,' and I'm like, 'Is this not up to me?!' Kris has also urged her model daughter to freeze her eggs and even called their family doctor on her behalf to move forward with the plans, making Kendall 'uncomfortable.' "I still have a lot I need to figure out before I can welcome a child into my life," Kendall later shared in a confessional. "Like, I'm still just enjoying life on my own, and I'm OK with that right now." Her brother Rob, 36, and all four sisters - Kourtney, 44, Kim, 42, Khloe, 39, and Kylie, 26, have already brought children into the family. Kourtney was the first member of the reality TV family to give birth in 2009 to Mason Disick. She shared three children with her ex, Scott Disick, including Penelope Disick, born in 2012, and Reign Disick, who was born in 2014. She is expecting her fourth child, and first with husband Travis Barker, this year, which will be the 13th grandchild. The birth of Kris Jenner's third grandchild, North West, was in 2013, when Kim and Kayne welcomed their first child together. They went on to welcome three more children together: Saint West in 2015, Chicago West in 2018, and Psalm West in 2019.
