Singer Leona Lewis is expecting her first child with her husband Dennis Jauch. The Bleeding Love songstress is set to give birth later this year. According to reports, the couple is thrilled to be starting a family together. Lewis married her creative director beau in 2019. A source close to the singer told The Sun, “Leona and Dennis are absolutely over the moon." “They have passed the 12-week milestone and told their family and friends at the beginning of the year." “They can’t wait to welcome their new arrival and to become a family of three.” The singer previously opened up about her hopes to adopt one day. She explained that her mum Maria grew up in children's homes. The Grammy winner shared, "My mum grew up in a children’s home. No one adopted her as a child and I would very much like to adopt. But I’m still figuring things out. "If it was up to my husband, we would have had kids yesterday.” She added, "We’re so ready to do this. Dennis is the most kind, considerate person I’ve ever met. Lewis said her husband has been her "rock through my crazy ups and downs and everything I’ve gone through in my life". The Forgive Me singer had been dating Jauch since 2010. They met when he was a dancer for singer and rapper Labrinth. The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in July 2019. Their ceremony was held in Tuscany, at Sting's 16th century, 865-acre, Il Palagio estate. The parents-to-be currently live in Los Angeles. Lewis purchased a $2.6 million home in Studio City just before the Covid-19 pandemic began in March 2021.
