"It's been a whirlwind"
Shayne Ward has revealed that he is expecting his second baby with fiancée Sophie Austin.
The couple are already parents to five-year-old Willow and are now getting ready to welcome another baby girl to their family.
The former X Factor winner explained that they had initially turned towards IVF to have another child but ended up conceiving naturally.
Shayne spoke to
Hello! Magazine, saying: "I would always say to Sophie: ‘I know in my gut and in my heart of hearts that we are going to have more children.’ “There was no two ways about it. We never gave up. It’s been a whirlwind.
“And 16 years after I appeared on The X Factor, I have a beautiful family and one on the way. I am on cloud nine. It’s amazing that we’re going to have another girl to add to the Ward clan.”
Expecting their latest addition in May, Sophie added: "It was one of the most emotionally draining things we have ever been through. And for Shayne, it was quite a hard process because he wasn't physically going through it but it was just as tough for him."

The couple also revealed that their daughter Willow has always wanted to be a big sister and already has a name in mind, wanting her parents to name the baby Aurora after the Disney princess.
The couple has had to postpone their wedding a few times now since the pandemic began, and it looks like it'll be pushed back again with baby number two joining the family.
Shayne previously told Lorraine Kelly: "Everything can wait, there is no rush and we can definitely do this next year, but we're together for life and that is the main thing, we're together regardless."
