Strictly Come Dancing star Jayde Adams has been praised for shutting down critics.
The comedian performed an incredible Flashdance-inspired routine on Saturday, which has now gone viral.
Jayde has been praised for showing that you can dance, no matter what your size. During Saturday's show, judge Motsi Mabuse thanked her for showing people that dance is inclusive.
Despite the waves of praise, Jayde has also been hit with an onslaught of abuse from fatphobic people online.
However, the comedian refuses to let them hurt her. In a moving Instagram post, Jayde addressed the backlash she has faced over her size.
She wrote;
"I’m getting lots of nice people sending me many DM’s worrying about my mental health because stupid people are saying silly things about my weight after my thighs went viral on Saturday night."
"You need to know, I would never allow someone who doesn’t see the idiocy of this logic, to affect my mental health AND if it did creep in, not only do I have Karen but I’m surrounded by people who would either gather round me or if it got REALLY bad, they’d track them and pay them a visit I’m sure."
Jayde stressed that there is nothing wrong with her health-wise.
"If there was something that wrong with me, I wouldn’t be able to dance 6 hours every day and lift Karen.
However, people continue to troll her, but Jayde said she won't let them win.
"I’m not ignoring it, I’m addressing it. The more I show resilience to it, the more other people will be able to and that’s useful I think."
