Yvonne Connolly has made a hilarious dig at her son, Jack Keating, as he returned to the Love Island Villa for the Infamous All Stars series.
The much-anticipated show returned to screens last night, with Ireland represented by 26-year-old Jack, who previously appeared in the Villa in 2022.
Three years ago, Jack lasted just days before packing his bags, but this time, the social media star and son of Ronan Keating is giving it another shot, as he's one of the first to enter this Villa this season.
However, fans appear to be confused as to why Jack decided to return to the Villa, with many pointing out he had very little airtime when he was on the show as a Casa Amor contestant.
On top of that, Jack’s mum, Yvonne Connolly, took to social media to playfully poke fun at her son after he ended up coupling up with season 10 runner-up Whitney Adebayo.
"Day 1 and Jack is in a couple and has had more airtime than he had in all of season 8. Off to a good start," joked Connolly as she watched her son on TV.
She later went on to joke that her son "wouldn’t be the first Irishman to fumble the double kiss".
Other Love Island stars were quick to share their thoughts online too, with one writing: "Who even is Jack? He was on air for 2 seconds bye," with another writing: "Jack didn’t contribute a single thing last round."
However, not everyone was criticising the Irishman's return, with one writing: "I must be one of the only ones that thinks Jack Keating is one of the better lookingones of the #LoveIslandAllStars boys."
This time around, Jack hopes to find 'the one' after his unsuccessful stint in 2022.
He said: "I feel like I have to come back and redeem myself. My experience before was short and sweet. I was in there for four days and didn’t couple up with anyone, so it didn’t really go to plan.
"The revenge tour is here! I’ve been single for a year now, and I’m looking for love."
