Viewers just couldn’t take one character on EastEnders seriously

Thursday night's episode of EastEnders showed Aidan growing impatient over the missing heist money. We know that Ben Mitchell is really the one who has the cash and that he's fled the country but furious Aidan reckoned Mick was the one to blame. The pub landlord had aroused his suspicion as he had recently found the money to save the Queen Vic at the last minute. After Mick was kidnapped, Aidan began questioning him in an attempt to get answers and even threatened to hurt him but ended up letting him go after Mick protested his innocence. Viewers found the whole thing a bit much, describing Aidan as a "pantomime villain."

The scriptwriters on #EastEnders have actually lost the plot!!!!! What is Aidan supposed to be? The Godfather??? And is that supposed to be comedy Masood with his aunt and uncle? Just gets worse ???
