They made it!
The 12th season of Operation Transformation came to an end last night and it was truly emotional.
Along with tears and laughter, the contestants all weighed in one last time, and we have to say they all looked unreal.
After eight weeks of sticking to their fitness and diet routine, Paul, Cathal, Pamela, Siobhan and Jean all lost a total of 146.5lb together.
According to RTÉ, presenter Kathryn Thomas said: “I have so enjoyed this 12th series of Operation Transformation alongside old friends and new.
“Our five leaders have been an inspiration to viewers right across the country, with Jean’s story particularly touching hearts, not least my own! I wish them all health and happiness in the future.”
And it seems like the rest of the country was overjoyed by the results, taking to Twitter to share their admiration for the contestants:

The conversations that the leaders had with themselves and shared with us, encouraged and supported by the experts, were central to the success we see tonight. #OperationTransformation
