Explosive scenes ahead in Fair City as Ciarán returns to Carrigstown tonight

Fair City’s 30th anniversary special is finally here.

And there’s going to be explosive senes in Carrigstown tonight as Johnny Ward makes his highly-anticipated return as Ciarán Holloway.

Viewers will remember Ciarán for keeping Katy O’Brien in a box for 13 months. We last saw him when he was stabbed in May 2017.

The character has since been presumed dead after falling into the water at the harbour.

But, as it was announced last week, Ciarán is back – but why? And just how long will it be until Katy finds out he is back in town?

Ciarán is backHe has only just returned to Carrigstown at the weekend, but Barry O’Hanlon (Pat Nolan) finds himself in hot water straight away.

Nora is determined to get justice for Andy and Robbie against Barry.

While the street party is taking place in Carrigstown, Decco (David O’Sullivan) lunges at Barry again after getting a disturbing phone call from Denzo.

Decco confronts BarryLater in the episode, Barry gets attacked by a mystery assailant – but with so many people with grudges against him, who could it be?

Elsewhere, the residents of Carrigstown enjoy a street party, where Renee and Bob dress up as John and Yoko.

Sharon is terrified Ger will destroy Hayley’s birthday, as things heat up between Hayley and Yates.

And Damian’s feud with Will takes a dark turn when Will resorts to desperate measures.
