A huge congrats is in order for Dave O'Sullivan and his girlfriend, Kim - they have just welcomed a baby boy!
The
Fair City actor took to Instagram to share the news, with a gorgeous picture of him holding his newborn's hand.
The star, who plays Decco Bishop in the Dublin soap, explained in the post that his little one arrived two weeks early - but said his partner and the staff in the Rotunda Hospital were "amazing."
He said: "Our lives start today. This little 'Yet to be Titled' bundle arrived naturally in the Rotunda Hospital at 9:23am this morning, 2 weeks early, weighing in at 7lbs 15oz.
"Today, my better half showed me the true meaning of the words bravery and strength, and I cant Thank her enough for how she handled it. She was a trojan.
"Everybody is happy and healthy and I couldn't be more thankful to the angel's and saints of this amazing hospital."
Many of his friends, family and fans rushed to congratulate the star on his new arrival.
Dave revealed he and Kim were expecting back in June when he posted a picture of an ultrasound on Instagram. "So while everyone knows I'm mad about Christmas, this year it's gonna be an extra special one," he said.
"Roll on December. Can't come quick enough."
