Or else he’ll never do it…

Just kidding, he probably will at some point – but winning a reality TV dancing show will apparently speed things along.

Fair City‘s Ryan Andrews has said that he will propose to his girlfriend of 10 years if he wins Dancing With The Stars.

The actor and former Jedward backing dancer has been dating Michaela O’Neill for over 10 years now after they met while performing in Panto in Dublin’s Olympia theatre.

He recently told The Sun that he would indeed ask her to marry him if he emerged victorious from DWTS. “Give me the votes and I’ll pop the question,” he said. “That’s a good campaign, I might do that. We’ll see.”

You truly do love to hear it.

Ryan, who plays Sean Cassidy in the RTÉ soap, added that Michaela has been incredibly supportive of his DWTS journey.

“Michaela absolutely loves it. She knows this is something I’ve always wanted to do,” he said.

“It is great to see her out supporting me every Sunday with my mam and dad and her mam and dad. They’re the people that you look over to at the end of every dance. She’s more nervous than me now.”

Love Island‘s Yewande was the first celebrity to be voted off the show last week.

The final – and Ryan’s imminent proposal – is due to take place on March 22.
