Five children are among the tragic victims of a horror car crash in the United States.
Seven people, two adults and five children, were killed in multi-vehicle crash on Florida Highway Patrol yesterday afternoon.
The young children were part of a church group travelling to Disneyland, Florida.
The tragic accident involved the church van which the children were travelling in, two semi-tractor trailers and one midsize vehicle.
The children are believed to range in age from eight years of age to teenagers.
Authorities are currently unsure what the exact cause of the crash was and the incident is still being investigated.
Between six to eight people were also injured in the collision.
According to the Daily News, Lt. Patrick Riordan was quoted as saying;
“One life is tragic, and the loss of life period is tragic. Unfortunately we had seven people lose their lives.”
The families of those involved were notified shortly after the collision occurred and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.
