Ruth Langsford, Gemma Atkinson, Rev Richard Coles, and Mollie King have already been confirmed for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.
And if that bunch weren’t enough to get us excited, the latest addition to the lineup certainly is.
Aston Merrygold of JLS fame is set to join the rest of the celebrities on the dance floor this year.
And according to him, he won’t be doing that many backflips.
The X-Factor star told Scott Mills on BBC‘s Radio 1 that he was the competition to win it and that he was going to try not to get scored any twos.

In a statement, Aston said that he was “so happy” to be joining the programme.
“It is such a brilliant show and I’ve followed it for years. I’m both nervous and excited to learn from the professionals about a whole new way of dancing!”
The singer will be the 200th celeb to take part in Strictly since the show began way back in 2004.
He is one of 27 musicians to strut his stuff on the dance floor, and the eighth celebrity to be announced for this year’s series.
