She told authorities that all of her children were in the SUV that morning, but she dropped them all at day care before continuing on with her day. Little did she know her 3-year-old never left the car.
The coroner has stated that his death was heat-related. Temperatures had reached 92 degrees that day, but inside the car would've been far hotter.
According to ABC News, the death has been ruled as accidental. The boy's birth mother has been contacted and the investigation is continuing.
