Fourth death confirmed in tragic house fire as little boy, 4, loses his fight for life

Even more sad news this evening.

Gardai have confirmed a fourth death a house fire in Clondalkin, West Dublin last night.

The four-year-old boy passed away in hospital this evening.

The Irish Examiner had an update this evening – it reported that the 27-year-old woman who died in the blaze was named locally as AnneMarie O’Brien – she is believed to have been seven months pregnant.

Her daughter Paris, who was two, and three-year-old Holly O’Brien, were also killed.

A 30-year-old woman remains in critical condition in hospital this evening.

The apartment block in Clondalkin was used by the domestic violence charity, Sonas, as support accommodation for women fleeing domestic abuse.
