The Health Service Executive is to publish a full nationwide review of maternity services complaints.
According to
RTÉ Investigates, the document, which will take in complaints made at every maternity hospital in the country, will be published and distributed to every family affected on Tuesday, May 23 at noon.
The Maternity Clinical Complaints Review was commissioned by the HSE Acute Hospitals Division three years ago in the aftermath of the RTÉ Investigates programme, Fatal Failures, broadcast in January 2014.
The television programme uncovered
a series of baby deaths at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise, sparking a radical overhaul of maternity care in Ireland.
