Gardaí are keen to speak with anyone who was on High Street between 8.45 am and 9.05 am.
Those with dash cam footage have also been asked to make it available to Gardaí.
The street is usually pedestrianised, but it has been cordoned off during the investigation.
Delivery vehicles were allowed access, but the public is asked to avoid the area.
