Update: 15-year-old Gearoid Morrissey has been found safe and well

Good news.

Last week gardaí at Henry Street were appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 15-year-old Gearoid Morrissey. Gearoid was last seen on Wednesday 10/7/19 at Mulgrave St, Limerick at approximately 4.05pm and was described as 5ft 7” tall, slim build with light brown hair. Today Gardai released a statement to say that Gearoid Morrissey has been found safe and well and thanked the public and media for their assistance.

"Gearoid Morrissey was located safe and well yesterday (14/7/2019) in Co Limerick. No further media action is required. The assistance provided is much appreciated."

Gearoid had been missing over a week so we're delighted that he has now safely found his way home to his family.
