We dare say we could do quite a lot with €500,000 this weekend.
Shopping, holidays, a car, a house – we wouldn’t see it go it waste, certainly.
Sadly for us, however, we did not win €500,000 in last night’s EuroMillions draw.
For two other Irish ticket holders… it’s a different story.
Yup, following the announcement of Friday’s lucky numbers, the National Lottery has confirmed that not one but two tickets scooped the top Plus draw price of half a million with 09, 11, 20, 23 and 46. The tickets were sold in Dublin and in the south of the country.
There was no winner of the jackpot, which stood at a cool €91million – meaning Tuesday’s draw will be a big’un. The main EuroMillions numbers were: 06, 15, 24, 28, 48 and Lucky Stars 04 and 09.
Dolores McNamara from Limerick remains Ireland’s biggest EuroMillions winner – she scooped more than €115million back in 2005.
More recently in 2014, €86.7million was won by a syndicate from Dublin. The ticket was sold in Centra, Ballybrack, Co Dublin.
