While it may be a bit cooler today, we had a long auld slug of seriously hot weather.
And trying to dress for said weather is a challenge at best.
One boy hoped to wear shorts to school in an effort to combat the heat, however, his mother says she was told that if he arrived into school wearing anything other than the standard uniform, he would be kept in an ‘isolation room’.
Another parent claimed the headteacher at the same school, ISCA Academy in Exeter, England, said that if their son wanted to wear something other than the school trousers he could wear the skirt.
So, he and 50 other boys did exactly that.

The teenagers arrived into school today wearing the school kilt as a sign of protest. And it seems to have worked.
According to reports, the headteacher is now considering amending the uniform policy for occasions of extremely hot weather.
