A Dublin mum has appealed to the public to help her find a very special teddy bear.
Roisin took to Twitter last night to ask if anyone had found the cuddly toy, which was lost on Henry Street in Dublin City Centre on Tuesday.
Daughters Teddy got lost today. My life is over.

Teddy is extremely important to Roisin’s daughter, who she described as a very “sad little girl wanting her friend back”. While the desperate mum has told the child Teddy is ‘on holiday’, time is running out and the ruse can’t continue forever: “She’s not quite convinced.” Roisin tweeted. “I feel awful, and have seen Toy Story enough times that this is traumatic for me too…”
The mum’s plea has been widely retweeted, with bestselling author Marian Keyes joining the effort this morning:
@roschetta I really hope you find teddy xxxxxx

Although the bear (a gift from the child’s granny on the day she was born) has yet to surface, Roisin is feeling positive:
so many people trying to help me find Teddy. I am so grateful. Faith in humanity restored <3
