Finally! At long last, we get to see Emily Blunt as Mary Poppins.
The first image of Emily playing the lead role in the sequel to the classic Disney film has arrived.
Mary Poppins Returns will be set 20 years after the original movie with Mary returning to the Banks’ household once more to help them through a family tragedy. The film stars Meryl Streep, Angela Lansbury, Colin Farrell and Lin-Manuel Miranda and will also see Dick Van Dyke in a minor role.
The sequel is not due out until December 2018 but that hasn’t stopped people from getting very excited. Emily looks just perfect in her classic Mary Poppins attire, holding the infamous magic carpet bag.
Roll on Christmas 2018, we reckon we’ll be pushing the kids out of the way to be first in the queue for this one.
