Feeding visitors over the next few days or just want to make sure you’re stocked up on essentials?

While it’s no Beast from the East, it’s best to be prepared so you’re not stuck for anything.

Here are the opening times for all the supermarkets over St Patrick’s Day and Bank Holiday Monday.

Dunnes Stores

Most stores across the country will be open from 10am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday, though some will vary.

There’s a feature on the Dunnes website that lets you check the opening hours for each individual shop – find it here.

SuperValu

As SuperValu stores are franchises, their opening hours over the weekend will vary depending on ownership.

You can find your local store’s hours on the locator feature here.

Lidl

Lidl will open as normal on Saturday (8am to 10pm) and Sunday (9am to 9pm).

For Bank Holiday Monday, Sunday hours will also apply.

Aldi

Aldi stores will be open from 9am to 9pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday across the country, except where the usual local planning restrictions apply.

Tesco

Most Tesco shops are operating as usual across the long weekend, with many open til 10pm or 11pm each night.

Again, customers are urged to check their individual store’s hours on the Tesco website.
