Hilaria Baldwin just gave birth to her seventh child – a daughter – making her husband Alec now the father of eight children, as he has a daughter, Ireland, from his first marriage to Kim Basinger.
According to People magazine, the couple welcomed their daughter Ilaria Catalina Irena Baldwin last Thursday, September 22nd.
Taking to Instagram to share the happy news, Hilaria wrote:

In an exclusive statement to People magazine, the mum-of-seven said:
“How grateful we feel to welcome our newest little daughter into this world. Just as magical and filled with love as every other little person we have been blessed with.”
Her husband added:
“Her Baldwinito siblings are so excited and all discussing who she looks the most like … we are overjoyed to introduce you to baby Ilaria.”
From before, the pair are also parents to sons Eduardo, 23 months, Romeo, 4, Leonardo, 5 1/2 and Rafael, 7. And as well as the boys, the family also includes daughters Carmen Gabriela, 8 1/2 and Maria, 18 months.
‘The heart can grow’
Hilaria revealed back in the spring that they were expecting another baby.
Speaking to People, the couple spoke excitedly about their upcoming addition to the family.
“We have ‘somos un buen equipo’ engraved on our wedding bands. We say that to each other all the time at home — that we’re a good team,” the couple said in an exclusive statement. “One of the most beautiful things my children have experienced with a big family is how the heart can grow with every new sibling.”
“Our capacity to love continues to expand and we can’t wait to embrace our new little one this fall!”
