Holly Willoughby is being mum-shamed after sharing these photos online

This is not OK.

Holly Willoughby found herself being targeted by cruel mum-shamers on Instagram after sharing a photos from a night out.

The TV presenter was out with friends earlier this week to watch pal Mike Skinner hit the stage with The Streets.

And, like many people do, the 37-year-old shared a series of snaps and videos from her night out on Instagram.

The 37-year-old This Morning presenter – who shares 8-year-old Harry, Belle, 7, and Chester, 3, with her husband Dan Baldwin – ended up (however accidentally) starting a parenting debate with the snaps.

While many of the commenters were saying that the Dancing on Ice presenter deserved the night off, others claimed that she never spent time with her kids.

One wrote:

“Well she is committed to her job…. works hard certainly plays hard.

“Missing out on time with her kids that’s sad they must miss her no replacement for mom.”

Someone else added:

“God she’s never in! How does she do it? I have one son and I can only get out every three months!”

Another person commented:

“Where’s her kids all the hrs she works you would think she would like to spend time with them and her hubby.”

Others were quick to jump to the television presenter’s defence.

One of her commenters said:

“So because @hollywilloughbyworks in the public eye, she’s not allowed to have a social life and spend time with her friends.

“Alot if people I know work 8-7 6 days a week and then go out 8n a Saturday!! Leave her alone we all here for 1 time live it the way you want..stop being so judgemental.”

A different fan added:

“Seriously?

“Some people just need to understand that being mother is not an easy job and I’m sure everyday after work she comes home and snuggles up with her kids and cuddles her kids, how can you judge a person going out to a gig and enjoying herself for once.

“Some people need to understand you have to balance being a mother and having responsibilities being a parent as well as having some me-time.”
