You can now stay in the house from Home Alone
Merry Christmas ya filthy animal!
Home Alone is undoubtedly one of the best Christmas movies of all time - I mean, is it even Christmas if you don't watch it?
Well, you can kick things up a notch this festive period by walking in Kevin McCallister's footsteps. The stunning house from the movie is now available to rent on AirBnB.
And the cherry on top is the house will be fully decked out in Christmas decorations. The space is described as "a cozy holiday scene with twinkling lights and a perfectly trimmed tree".
And it won't break the bank either as a one-night-stay will only set you back $25 (€22).
You'll also get to feast on Chicago style pizza and enjoy candlelit dinner of the finest microwavable Kraft Mac and Cheese.
The listing reads: "While the McCallisters are away on their annual trip (all of them but the pet tarantula, this time), four guests will get the opportunity to relive their favourite scenes from the holiday classic and let their inner eight-year-olds run free for the evening without the interruption of pesky intruders."
And while there might be a few booby traps around, you're guaranteed an awesome time.
Your host for the night will be Kevin's older brother Buzz McCallister, who you'll remember as being a bit of a bully in the movies.
"You may not remember me as particularly accommodating, but I’ve grown up," he said. "And I’d be happy to share my family home - my pizza, even - with you this holiday season. Just try not to let my tarantula, Axl, loose this time...
"We may all be older and wiser now, but we’re never too old for holiday hijinks."
"So this year, spend the holidays not-so-home-alone at my parents’ house."
AirBnB will also be making a donation to Chicago's La Rabida Children's Hospital in honour of the first-ever stay at the McCallister home.
Booking requests for four guests for a one-night-stay the residence open on 7 December here.
