The new online marketplace allows people to pass on furniture they no longer need, while giving shoppers the chance to find pre-loved IKEA pieces, including items that may no longer be available in stores.
The service is available exclusively to IKEA Family members and is free to use.
For sellers, all you have to do is scan your IKEA products to list then. Then, the platform provides recommended pricing, photographs and measurements to help create the listing.
Sellers can choose to receive their money in cash or opt for an IKEA digital refund card with an additional 15% on top of the sale value.
Buyers can also find useful information alongside listings, including product descriptions, measurements, assembly instructions and care details.

Some products that won’t be allowed on the marketplace include mattresses, appliances and food, as well as modified or recalled products and items that aren't from the store.
The move comes as second-hand shopping continues to grow in popularity in Ireland.
According to research, 93% of adults say they shop for second-hand goods, with 58% saying saving money or stretching their household budget is a key reason.
Furniture is also proving popular, with 45% of people who shop second-hand saying they buy pre-owned furniture.
IKEA says its new marketplace will make it easier for customers to find affordable furniture while giving unwanted items a new lease of life.
