I’m A Celebrity’s Noel and Harry are facing the grossest Bushtucker Trial ever tonight

The reign of the Emperor is over.

And Noel Edmonds and Harry Redknapp are set to take on the Bushtucker Trial in tonight’s I’m A Celebrity – fighting their way though a pretty grim-sounding meal to win food for the camp.

The reality TV series has released a first look at the first course in their Roman banquet, and it’s enough to make your stomach turn.

In the sneak peek of tonight’s Nero to Zero, the pair are presented with a plate containing sheep’s brain – still in the skull.

Harry and Noel appear to be expected to scrape it out beforehand, with a  spoon siting beside the ‘dish’.

Holly and Dec asked both of the contestants how they felt about the task at hand – and Harry wasn’t too keen on the idea, understandably.

He said:

“I’ve struggled to eat the food in the camp, I don’t think I’ve really ate anything. So this is going to be difficult.”

And when Holly asked him if he thought he was going to be able to do it, Harry bravely promised to do the task for his family.

He added:

“I’ve got to do it, I’ve got the grandkids at home watching. I can’t let ’em down.”

Then things got a little bit awkward as Noel shared how he was coping with the task, comparing the sheep’s brain to a giant chewy walnut.

Yes, really.

He told the hosts;

“I’m trying to engage in what I call cornial re-alignment protocol, C-R-A-P for short, in which you visualise something other than what you’re looking at.

“So I’m seeing a very large walnut… that will be chewy.”
