The Coroner stated a verdict of accidental death at the inquest. He called it a “tragic accident.”

A toxicological report carried out on Dolores after her death found a blood alcohol level of 330mg per 100ml – just over four times the legal limit for driving.

Apparently, there was also an indication she used prescription medication as they were found at the scene.

According to BBC, PC Natalie Smart, who was at the scene, told the inquest: “I saw Mrs O’Riordan submerged in the bath with her nose and mouth fully under the water.”

After the Limerick singers death, millions of fans, friends and family members paid tribute to her online.
