He is one of the country’s most celebrated rugby stars and now Peter Stringer is about to embark on his biggest challenge yet – fatherhood.
The Munster and Ireland player now lives in the UK with his wife of two years, Debbie O’Leary where he plays for English team, Sale Sharks.
His wife shared a snap on Instagram announcing the happy news and they are expected to welcome baby Stringer in the coming weeks.
