It's VERY soon.

Do it before it’s too late.

Recently, Irish Water set up a dedicated section on their website to help customers who paid the charges to get back their refunds.

In accordance with the Water Services Bill, which was passed by Dáil Éireann in October, Irish Water will be refunding nearly 900,000 households the amount they paid towards water charges.

This totals approximately €173m.

Back when the refund process began, Irish Water set up the dedicated page on their website to help people get their refund.

Customers are asked to log-in through the web page and update any information that might have changed. If you have moved house for example.

Now, they’ve given an update and have said that anyone who has changed their address needs to submit their new address by  November 17th.

They confirmed the date on Twitter saying:

“If you have moved and not already informed us, please do so by November 17th to ensure the correct issuing of refund cheques. See for more.”

They will be issuing refunds by cheque to the individual who owns the account, at the address on their account. If a customers address or details have not changed then there is no need to contact Irish Water.
