Apparently, Coleen is going to stay with Wayne Rooney for this reason

Coleen and Wayne Rooney's marriage was rumoured to be on the rocks after the Everton footballer was charged with drink-driving last week.

Wayne was supposedly driving a woman home at the time of the offence, after meeting her out that night, and there were reports that Coleen had ended their marriage, particularly after she was pictured without her wedding ring. However, people closest to the couple have said that Coleen will stay with her husband and the father of her children for the sake of family. Wayne and Coleen have been married for nine years and have three sons with a fourth child on the way.

Coleen's brothers, Anthony and Joe, are said to be very close to Wayne while her parents regularly go on holidays with them too. A friend of Wayne's told The Sun:

"She loves him. But more than that, she loves family. Most of the time he’s a good husband and a hands-on dad. "Some years ago after one of his other idiotic drunken sprees she gave him a big lecture and he asked if she wanted to call it a day. "She was forced to admit that divorce is not something she wanted to think about".

One of Coleen's close pals also spoke to the publication and said that Coleen fears for how Wayne would cope without her and said "she is fiercely loyal".

"Despite her fury at Wayne, she is ruthlessly protective of her boys and wants them to have a perfect childhood".
