Today marks the 8th World Autism Awareness Day. To acknowledge this super-special day, iconic world landmarks like the Empire State Building, the Pyramids, the London Eye and our own Blarney Castle will turn bright blue to mark the day. Pretty cool, eh? There’s also a whole heap of events in towns and cities around the world.
Following on from Irish kids’ camp company STARCAMP’s number 1 single before Christmas with Ryan Tubridy, Bosco, Zig and Zag and Co, almost one hundred STARCAMP summer camp children and leaders gathered to record a heavenly version of “SMILE – A song for Autism” with all proceeds from the single going to The Irish Society for Autism.
The single will be released into the digital charts and can be downloaded on iTunes for just €1,29.
