“He will always be a danger”: James Bulger’s dad says son’s killer should never be released

“He will kill another baby like James.”

The father of James Bulger says his son’s killer should never be released from prison.

He believes he should spend the rest of his life behind bars.

His words come after it was revealed that victims’ families will now be able to take part in parole hearings in England.

Distraught father Ralph said he wants to attend Jon Venables’ parole hearing this autumn.

He is hoping the new laws will be introduced by then.

The father said he wants the killer to know how much harm he caused James’s family.

Robert Thompson and Jon Venables were found guilty of killing 2-year-old James in 1993.

However, both murderers have lifelong anonymity because they were minors when they killed him.

Mr. Bulger said both killers shouldn’t be protected.

He said they shouldn’t be treated like children anymore.

The dad told The Mirror, “He will hear me spell out I want him behind bars for the rest of his life. It will be the first time he will hear the words from my mouth.

“I believe he will always be a danger to young children and he will kill another baby like James.

“All his life he’s been treated differently because he was 10 when he and his sidekick tortured and murdered my little boy.

“Well, he’s not a kid anymore. Venables has always had things his own way ever since he murdered James.”

“It’s about time the tables turned and he faced real justice at last. No more treating him with kid gloves.”

Mr. Bulger called on Dominic Raab to speed up the law so he can attend the hearing later this year.
